Description
A sonic screwdriver of my own design. Obviously only made in MS Paint so not exactly mind-blowing lol 
It's slightly steampunk inspired, and is mainly a modification of the 4th doctors screwdriver than anything else.
I got a bit frustrated with all the completely different myriad uses that the screwdriver is put to always by pressing the one button. So this model I put as many buttons, dials and switches in between the handle and the emitter as I thought appropriate heh. The main activation switch is at the top of the handle so as to be activated by the thumb in the usual fashion.
Also I noticed that the 11th doctor has a (IMHO) very annoying habit of looking at his screwdriver and reading off information as though there was a screen or display when there clearly isn't one! So you can see at the top there is a LCD (or whatever more sophisticated Sci-fi time lord equivalent) screen, although only the left side is visible from this orientation.
Finally, seeing as the new screwdrivers all seen to have the emitter pointing along the thing instead of at 90* like the classic model (which personally I prefer), I included a simple hinge-type arrangement so that the emitter can be moved between the two orientations. Which from my experience with real tools would be very useful

Well, the Doctor IS a Time Lord. They have psychic abilities(Just telepathy, unforrtunately), so maybe the sonic has a little device that emits a psychic signal that enables him to see the data like an HUD, or a heads-up display(for those who don't know what HUD is).
